Monday Club Receives Funding From Hailsham Active (29/01/19)

The Monday Club, which was launched by Hailsham Youth Service last autumn providing activities such as 5-a-side football, table tennis and badminton, has received £650 in vouchers from Hailsham Active, which will go towards the purchase of additional sports equipment for use at Monday Club sessions.......

Square Youth Cafe Reopens After Redecoration Work (12/12/18)

A new-look Square Youth Café has reopened following a 4-day redecoration and refurbishment project. The interior of the popular venue for young people in Market Square, managed and funded by the Town Council, has been repainted and now looks much brighter following the transformation.....

Autumn & Winter Activities for Young People in Hailsham (01/10/18)

A variety of activities have been planned from October through to March next year including dry-slope skiing and Ringo Run at Knockhatch Ski Centre (ski lessons for available for beginners), as well as ten-pin bowling at Freedom Leisure Centre, trampolining at Urban Jump in Heathfield, and a variety of other activities.....

Hailsham Youth Service Launches New Website (04/09/18)

Hailsham Town Council has launched www.hailshamyouthservice.org, a website devoted to providing information on the Council’s wide range of projects, support services and opportunities for young people in the town. Job Cafe For Young People In Hailsham A Success (22/08/18)
Hailsham Town Council’s youth project team’s weekly Job Café continues to benefit 16 to 25-year olds seeking advice and practical support in looking for employment, education and training. Informal drop-in sessionsoperate at the Square Youth Café on Fridays from 11am to 2pm.....
Year 6s Invited To Attend After-School Club (04/08/18)
Primary school children in Year 6 (ages 10 and 11) are now invited to attend after-school club and afternoon sessions, which take place at the Square Youth Café in Hailsham on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from 3.15pm to 5pm.....
Help And Advice For Young People In Hailsham (07/07/18)
Young people in Hailsham continue to benefit from free support, guidance and personal development services at the Infopoint drop-in centre located in Market Square. Those aged 13-19 have access to information and advice on issues such as bullying, sexual health, drug issues and more.....
Next Round Of Friday Night Project Activities (02/07/18)
A variety of activities have been planned for the Friday Night Project from July through to late November including go-karting and dry-slope skiing at Knockhatch, ten-pin bowling at Freedom Leisure, trampolining at Urban Jump and a trip to Thorpe Park on Saturday 29th September.....

Activity Weekend For Young People A Success (13/03/18)

Friday Night Project Receives Additional Cash Boost (06/02/18)
A scheme aimed at providing young people in Hailsham with organised activities on Friday evenings to help reduce boredom and antisocial behaviour has received yet another cash boost, this time from the Safer Wealden Partnership, a key funding partner of the Town Council's youth service.....
